The iPD is not only fast, but it prints quality photos, too. That makes the iPD's output quality good enough for anything up to and including important photos you'd want to frame and hang in your living room. The iPD's text quality is much better than most ink jets can manage.
Every font from our tests that's appropriate for business purposes was easily readable, with well-formed characters at 5 points; most of them were also easily Canon PIXMA iP6700D Memory Card even at 4 points. The edges weren't quite as crisp as with laser output, and one highly stylized font with thick strokes needed 20 points for easy readability, but unless you have an unusual need for small fonts, the iPD can print anything you need.

Still, it's a good-looking design with smooth curves and a full set of controls on a top panel that, when used with the built-in card reader that's hidden behind a panel on the front panel's right side, lets you print photos from a memory card without a computer. Computer-free Printing Located on the front are the two built-in flash card slots. The included Canon Card Memory software Windows allows you to set the card slots to either Read-Only default or Read-Write if you need to copy files to a card.
