The grey port in the lower right of the audio riser is a dedicated headphone port. EVGA Z97 Classified Marvell SATA 6 option is to bite the bullet and use the board as-is. A third option is to do nothing for about 3 months, and then obtain a replacement of the board from EVGA and hope for a better functioning board along with newer BIOS. It's time for a single malt! My opinion is that you paid for a board expensive too and you didn't get what you paid for.
